Multi-Medix at BMUS 2025
In December 2025, the Multi-Medix team attended the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) Conference in Harrogate, one of the most important events in the UK ultrasound calendar.
Multi-Medix at bmus 2025: highlights from harrogate
As the leading gathering for the ultrasound community, BMUS once again brought together sonographers, manufacturers, researchers, and innovators from across the sector. The conference provided a fantastic opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and showcase the latest developments in ultrasound quality assurance.
Connections and New Opportunities
BMUS 2025 provided a valuable forum for meaningful discussions with practitioners, trainees, and industry colleagues. We were pleased to reconnect with existing partners and meet new organisations exploring ways to strengthen their ultrasound QA processes. Alongside our sister company, Modality, we built new relationships that will support ongoing collaboration across the sector.
Showcasing Multi-Mode
A major highlight of this year’s conference was showcasing Multi-Mode, our new phantom tool designed to advance and simplify ultrasound system testing. Live demonstrations generated productive conversations around real-world QA challenges and practical implementation.
Since BMUS, we’re pleased to share that Multi-Mode went live in another NHS hospital last week, marking an important milestone and demonstrating its value in a clinical environment. The positive feedback we received at the conference reinforced our confidence that Multi-Mode will make a meaningful impact on ultrasound QA practice.
Engaging with the Ultrasound QA Community
Throughout the conference, many delegates visited our stand to discuss ultrasound QA and testing—whether refining established programmes or considering QA for the first time. We were pleased to provide demonstrations, practical insights, and tailored advice.
There was also strong interest in our Probe Care Essentials Course, delivered nationwide for £25 per delegate. This one-hour session provides a solid foundation in ultrasound QA and offers CPD credits, supporting professionals in maintaining high standards and system performance. Looking Ahead
As we left Harrogate, we felt energised by the new connections and opportunities created at BMUS 2025. With Multi-Mode now live in an NHS setting and continued collaboration with Modality, we’re excited about what lies ahead.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand or spoke with us during the conference. We look forward to staying connected.
